Practice Gratefulness

Reviews:

Wedding:

Cupcake Down South made the most AMAZING vegan cupcakes and cupcake cake for our reception. We still frequent there when we are nearby. By far my favorite treat and great service.

South Carolina Aquarium was very professional, helpful, and fairly priced for our reception room.

There are so many amazing companies that came together to make this event magical, but these are the two that top the list.

Barre 3:

As soon as you walk into a Barre 3 (and I’ve been to several) you feel the energy. The instructors and the other ladies in your class seem to always be pumped and ready to go. Everyone is so encouraging and sweet. The childcare is super affordable and I feel comfortable leaving my kids with them. I’m so thankful to have found a workout home.

Garden of the Gods-

The park is beautiful and well kept up with. I have never seen any litter or other eyesores. There are many trails to choose from and you can even ride horseback for the day. The visitor center is educational and very interesting. It includes a cafe and restrooms.

Keep the Midlands Beautiful-

A well-run organization with wonderful and knowledgable people. Their purpose is noble and dear to my heart. Definitely a group I would love to be more involved with for all they do for my community.

Palmetto State Armory-

The staff here was professional and knowledgeable. As a first timer I felt I was in good hands. They take gun safety very seriously, but have a calm demeanor so as not to worry me any more than I worried myself. They have a great selection and ladies’ night discounts!

Kitty Hawk Kites-

Accomodating, professional, and fun! I would 100% reccommend them for any of the variety of adventures they offer. I have only personally experienced hang gliding with them, but I will be back for more!

Red Cross Blood Donation Center-

I think I have already professed my love for the staff, but I’ll go into a little more detail. I’ll be honest here, this center is not known for it’s speed. For that I have two theories. 1. There are many generous people that donate blood in my area and keep the waiting room full. 2. The staff is friendly and wants to make you as comfortable as possible. You won’t feel rushed. What they lack in speed they make up for in kindness, attentiveness, and generosity. Once you walk through those doors you become part of the family. I consider this MY donation center and won’t go anywhere else.

U.S. National Whitewater Center- visited in 2015. The U.S. National Whitewater Center is in Charlotte, NC. The staff in friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is electric, and the adventure options are endless. I reccommend a day pass if you visit. They run about $59 for an adult and $49 for youth. You can rock climb, hike, zip line, go white water rafting, and much more. A birthday well spent. https://usnwc.org
